Love is in the air…

Love is in the air… and I don’t have to go far in search of it, coz it’s happening right in front of my eyes… we never thought that a prank would shape up into something like this… probably it’s not from both ends or who knows may be it is… but if somebody really cares to ask my opinion I would really want that whatever is happening should turn into something good, the way I want it to be… we live in a world where hardly anyone cares for us so much and when we find such people who actually cares for us in every possible ways then we tend to avoid them… or perhaps silently love them but never gather the courage to pour out whatever is inside our heart… the question here is why??? Coz we are scared what others would say… we end up thinking about each and every person of this world whose opinion is not even required and seldom have we thought about the person who deserves it… I know someone who loves someone a lot and when I say a lot that means he is really mad for her… he loves her silently and probably she knows everything about it but as every other girl she is also very diplomatic and she says that she is still confused… I don’t what is there to be confused... there can be only two things either she loves him or she don’t… but girl have this part as well… the confused state… hope I could understand their psychology… he is my friend and I know the depth of his love and I wish he gets what he really wants from life… when on one hand someone’s heart has been pierced into several pieces I find some good positive energy going around me which gives me immense happiness and satisfaction and I pray from my heart that whatever happened with me should never happen with any of those people who are around me… probably I am asking for too much but that’s really what I want now… today we just joked about one of our friend and we linked him up with a girl just for some amusement but the result that came out of our another prank was unbelievable… I think my friend has fallen for her or probably he wants to fall for her… and I am sure that if not today then probably after a week he will… people who are reading might even think that we are useless bunch of friends who don’t respect the thing called love… I don’t know how anyone feels about this… I am just writing what I am feeling about this situation… and I don’t think that we should be accused for playing any prank on our friends… Afterall it’s our birth right… and anyway the outcome is not in our hands… and who knows if things goes well for them then atleast we would feel proud that coz of our prank someone is happy and if it doesn’t work out then as I said the outcome is not in our hands… life is unpredictable you don’t know what is there on cards for you… whatever we have in our own hand is today that’s why it is called Present… it’s a gift to us from the lord and we have every right to play with it… do anything according to our wish coz no one knows what will happen tomorrow… so be happy… enjoy your today play with it in your own way… and anytime if things doesn’t work out the way we had imagined that just remember these words that life is too damn unpredictable and we can’t take even a single thing for granted… we may live or die that’s the only two things that’s gonna happen to anyone… but its upto us how we want to live or how we want to die… do you wanna regret that you missed those funs when you will be on your death bed… or you wanna be satisfied that you lived your life…

P.S – I apologize if I have offended anyone’s sentiments unknowingly; it’s just about my freak friends…

Happy Friendship Day!!!

Friendship is a bond which anyone can’t explain in words, it is the most beautiful bond in this world one has, life without friends is plain and boring. They are someone who pulls our leg, all the time for anything and everything. Someone who always cheer us up even if we are totally screwed up!! We fight, we argue, we laugh and make others laugh… this is friendship. Unconditional like few other relations of this world...

But sometimes we insult the purest relation of this world, sometimes we tend to give more importance to love over friendship… we like someone, we fall in love, we come into some relationship and we end up messing up with friends. We don’t spend more time with friends now which usually we use to, but they never complain. We do anything and everything for our love relation seldom we do so much for friendship even though one day mostly people gets dumped by the same person whom we loved so much, for whom we avoided our friends, for whom we lied to our parents, for whom we fought with our siblings and when this cruel reality hits us hard then we realize the importance of these relations in our life and then we feel guilty. We go back to our friends though we can’t look at them directly in their eyes and say “I am sorry!!” Instead of whacking us hard they just give us a much needed hug and whisper into our ears “that’s okay yaar it happens in life this is not the end, check out that hot chick!!” So this is friendship, which has no conditions, no expectations, and no rules.

After our parents and siblings, its only friends who can understand our state better, and sometimes they are the only one who will understand our state, who will support us without giving it a thought the amount of risk involved in certain situations, they don’t give a damn to it, just jump along with us even if it’s a fire.

It all started in 1935, The United States Congress proclaimed the first Sunday of August as the National Friendship Day. Since then, celebration of National Friendship Day became an annual event. The noble idea of honoring the beautiful relationship of friendship caught on with the people and soon Friendship Day became a hugely popular festival. Following the popularity and success of Friendship Day in US, several other countries adopted the tradition of dedicating a day to friends. Today, Friendship Day is enthusiastically celebrated by several countries across the world including India. 

In 1997, the United Nations named Winnie - the Pooh as the world's Ambassador of Friendship.

Even the holy Bible states the importance of friendship. The Bible, the primary text of the western civilization, reflects upon friendship as the bond that forms the foundation to human faith, trust and companionship. Following verses from the bible aptly portray the importance of friends: 

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” 

Matthew 7:7

“Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

John 15:13-15

In the famous Hindu epic ‘Mahabharata’, Lord Krishna demonstrates the many colors of friendship - affection, romance, brotherhood, protection, guidance, intimacy and even teasing. Friendship is all about these and much more.

Friendship is the most holy relationship in this world, the purest one. They are the only one who gives us those golden memories that we can cherish lifelong. Some stay for life some for an instance but we always remember them all. We always play all those moments in the theatre of our mind and feel content about it. Sometimes we just laugh out loud even though when we are sitting alone when we start the flashback in the back of our head. Sometimes we do commit some mistakes and loose them forever, but they are always in our heart, even though we show everyone that we hate them to the core indirectly we still love them by remembering them all the time…
